4 crucial steps to help you manage your HR Projects

Take one minute to read these HR tips and improve the preparation and initiation of your HR Projects, keep better track of project progress and professionalize the closure and review of your HR Projects:

1) Build your Business Case:

  • Prepare a high level Business Case and get approval from your Sponsor and the commitment of the Steering Committee
  • Work out the detailed Business Case & Project Organization & Planning

2) Initiate & Plan your HR Project:

  • Conduct a Project Kick-off Workshop to align the Project Team Members with the identified Goals & Approach
  • Work out an Action Plan for each Project Stage

3) Monitor & Control:

  • Follow-up on the Action Plan and update the Project Milestones Plan and Project Charter whenever appropriate
  • Conduct regular Project Status Meetings with the Steering Committee

4) Review & Close the Project:

  • Conduct a Lessons Learned Workshop with your Project Team
  • Conduct a Project Closure Meeting with the Project Steering Committee
